I highly recommend SCA Solar i’ve been a tradesmen for nearly 40 years and I’ve met many trades people in my time some good so some not so good and every so often you come across a set of trades people who go that extra little bit just to make sure the job is spot-on and all the staff of this company have that mindset from the ladies in the office to the guys who put the scaffold up to the electricians I can’t recommend them enough absolutely brilliant and the after sales service fantastic
I cannot recommend SCA solar more highly. We were originally signed to a national solar company who weren't really delivering the system we wanted or needed. After a call and appointment with Shaun (who has extensive solar knowledge and expertise) we went ahead with an installation of 26 panels and a 10kw battery - it has been amazing from Day 1. So much so and 2 years on we have added an additional 10kw battery - we have minimal bills to pay in winter, and have an additional small summer income from exporting excess. If you are wondering whether you should, i would say dont hesitate to use SCA solar - you will get a great system from a local independent company who are always there in the background for any niggles. Recently I had a seriously leaking roof which required the removal of four solar PV panels to permit the repair. The original repairer had ceased trading so I contacted SCA Solar. They responded quickly to this situation, to my relief. They know what they are talking about, and just as importantly listened to my needs. They did what they promised, when they promised. Friendly and professional service. Shaun and his team did an excellent job of fitting our solar panel and battery storage system and car charger. It was as stress-free (for us) as it could be. His team were really friendly and took the time to explain things and take questions. The personal service we have had throughout has been brilliant, and they have reassured us that they are here to help if we have any questions or issues going forwards. We are very pleased with the system provided and very pleased we chose their service. 100% recommended.
Shaun and SCA Solar designed and fitted my domestic solar and battery system.Shaun understood my needs and ensured the system met them, which most other companies failed to do.From quote to completion Shaun was demonstrably better, being local and client focussed really showed.Communication and speed of installation was great, with any hiccups sorted quickly.I can’t recommend SCA more, its great that a local company can beat the corporates in every way, and if I ever need an upgrade I’ll be using SCA again.
With such a big complicated purchase it is hard to do justice in a short review.However if considering having Solar Panels I thoroughly recommend Shaun and team at SCA Solar.I chose them because they are local. But not just that because I received a thoroughly professional service from design to completion. All Full warrantied and supported much more than any other firm could provide.They have all the processes and assured promises that a big firm might offer all with a local and personal touch. It is not something I have really ever experienced before when having a big project done on a domestic level. It's quite special.All that with knowledge and design that has already proven to be a great fit.And I have the assurance and confidence that if things should need attention now or in the next 12 years that the team will be there to back me up.And if not I have all professional underwritten warranties I could draw on. Shaun and his team were recommended to me by a friend whose solar panels and battery set up were installed by SCA a year or so ago.Right from the word go I was impressed by Shaun . He has over 10 years experience of the "Solar Panels plus batteries world" and it shows. He and his team have a very good customer service ethic . He was always punctual or called to let me know if he had been delayed by traffic. He explained the installation process and gave me all the information I needed.Within a month or so of our first meeting in February his team had our panels , inverter and batteries installed and running . It is a very neat installation - from the arrays of PV panels themselves to the connections to our electricity supply in our garage.I would not hesitate to recommend SCA Solar to my friends.
I was recommended SCA Solar by a close friend who had a system installed earlier in the year. After Shaun’s initial visit and assessment of what we would need the whole process was complete within 2 weeks and Shaun and the team managed the various trades.Very pleased with the communication and the standard of the work and the panel fitters and electricians were great with a very neat and clean job.Would definitely recommend SCA Solar to friends and neighbours.
The saying " No Job Too Small " I feel is always a throw away comment from a lot of companies. But not for Shaun at SCA Solar!Having an existing Domestic Solar installation that had developed a fault was a concern for me. Having contacted a number of companies that were only interested in an installation I came across Shaun at SCA Solar . I wish he had been the first call ! The process that we all believe should be straight forward with any company ( but half the time isnt!) was just that . We phoned , they answered , appointment made, with fees clearly explained from the outset , fees I was satisfied to accept! Shaun duly arrived on the day and at the time arranged and quickly got on with assessing the job . Turned out to be fairly straight forward so he fixed it there and then. Unfortunately the Solar panels didnt want to reconnect properly to the Inverter , so quick job got longer. Shaun kept trying but realised he would have to visit again. Before leaving he informed us the the price would not change and kept his promise and rearranged , turned up on time again and made good , now we are back up and running!Pleasing to find someone like Shaun who finds the time to look after ALL customers no matter how big the job !Would totally recommend - Thanks Shaun !
Had to call them out to look at a faulty inverter. Shaun came and looked at it, then came and fitted a new one. He was not pushy, only did what was needed. Cleaned up very well afterwards. System now working fine. Couldn't ask for better or friendlier service. Highly recommend.
